Other Makes Mint 1979 Batavus Moped Picture(s) and Description:
The Batavus Regency has a two stroke Laura M 65 engine. It was manufactured from 1978 to 1980 (maybe longer). Early versions had plastic mag wheels while later ones had traditional steel spoked wheels. Ads for these bikes boasted 150 miles per gallon fuel economy, and wide profile Vredestein/Michelin tires. They were available in grey, black, and classic tan with pin stripe accents.

As can be seen from the photos, this is an extremely good example, and with a little tweeking would be a candidate for a museum spot. Cat Eye EL770 is installed. Mileage is stated as that shown on the odometer, and is not guaranteed by seller.
