Kawasaki 1974 Kawasaki H2 750 Mach IV Picture and Description:
1974 Kawasaki H2 750 with approximately 15,000 miles Frame S/N: H2F37064 Engine S/N: H2E37014 This is a nice looking and riding bike that I was going to restore but due to other priorities in life, I'm forced to part with it. Now, it could be yours! I'll do my best to describe the condition of the cycle in detail and list the things that are wrong with it or things that I've seen and was going to replace or fix. However, I may miss something so please ask questions. Overall, the body is in good condition and is good mechanically. I rode it back and forth to work a bit last summer. All lights work and it runs well. I replaced the fuel petcock grommet, and the carb bowl gaskets after cleaning the carbs last summer. I also put in a new battery. It comes with the original tool kit (unsure if all tools are there but appear to be.) The pipes, wheels fenders and side covers are in great shape. The exhaust baffles were removed but come with the bike. The extra spark plugs and plug case is under the seat. The bike fell over at low speed (inexperienced rider- previous owner.) The very minor damage can be seen in the detailed pictures below. Besides repainting it the wrong green, the fuel tank has a dent on the right hand side and two pin hole leaks (towards the top) that have been covered by JB Weld (holding up well). There is also a small dent on the upper LH side of the fuel tank near the cap- it is difficult to see in the pics. The front signal cover on one side is slightly cracked and the other has minor scuffs (difficult to see in pics- both still work fine, back work too!), the RH engine oil pump cover is broken (doesn't affect how it runs at all). The tachometer cover is scuffed and cracked on the bottom plastic part and the headlight bezel is scratched and dented on one side as well. The headlight ear (holds the headlight and where the turn signal attaches) was bent but bent back and is now slightly creased where it meets the signal (still solid- see pic). The seat pan is rusted and will need to be replaced. One of the hinges has broken off of the seat pan completely due to rusting. It needs a rubber fuel tank hold down strap (using a small bungee) and it could use the other small rubber parts as well like the side cover grommets, etc. Hey, it's an old bike! I do not have the rear grab bar. There are pod filters on the carbs, however I do have the original intake setup (minus the snorkel and some clamps) The rubber intake boot is still fairly pliable but is showing signs of being almost 40 years old. An extra set of CDI boxes will come with it as well. This bike is a good rider or a good place to start for restoring. I'll answer any questions you may have as quickly as I can. Thanks for looking and happy bidding! If pickup is preferred, I may be able to help by driving to meet someone to help reduce a buyer's driving time. Bike in back of truck or on open trailer. $0.75 / mile one way up to 250 miles. A lot depends on what I have going on at the time. Otherwise, Buyer is responsible for the shipping arrangements. No guarantees or warranties expressed or implied.
