Honda : CL 1965 Honda Scrambler 250 Motorcycle Restored Picture(s) and Description:

For Sale- 1965 Honda Scrambler CL72. This bike is a restored 250/305 Scrambler. The title, engine and frame says CL72, the Head and Jug are stamped CL77(305). The 305 racer was introduced in Mid 1965 as CL77, which is when this bike was manufactured. I believe this machine started out as a 250cc, then converted to 305cc to compete with the new model or it could have been in a dealer's inventory and up-dated by the dealer. The engine and the frame match, under Honda Terms, only being a couple of numbers apart. The Frame CL72 - 1104049 and the Engine number is CL72 1104044. This bike ran and functioned well before the restoration and was re-done from the frame up, with the frame powder coated with a mirror black finish and lots of chrome and some custom, including vintage handle bars with that retro- 60s look and a cool spike front bumper for that added look, check out the pics. After restoration, the bike was added to a private collection, and has not had gas or oil in it since completion. No Disappointments here, this is a beautiful machine! Thanks for looking.
