1940 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead. 61 Cubic Inch EL. I've owned it for 12 years. Motor rebuilt. Good running bike. Mix of aftermarket and original. For sure the tanks and front fender are aftermarket. Don't know about the rear fender. Authentic 1941 saddlebags. 1940 speedo professionally rebuilt by the late Peter Heinz of AMCA. Correct M-25 Linkert carburetor. If the bike could talk it would tell lots of stories....but I don't know why the cases don't match. The side number on the left case is 1940. The belly number on the left case is 41-xxxx. The right case is 40-xxxx. Turns heads everywhere it goes. Can assist in arranging shipping or deliver to a reasonable distance. Reluctant sale of my favorite toy. Located near Colorado Springs CO.
