This is a very special 1995 Ducati 916. Originally owned by a woman in New York, it was purchased by the famous sculptor Stephan Weiss in May of 1996 with 1301 miles on the odometer. Stephan Weiss, along with his wife Donna Karan and her company DKNY, became sponsors of Fast By Ferracci. In 1999, Fast by Ferracci took this bike and turned it into Stephan's personal superbike. It was featured in the 1999 FBF catalog. Sold to the current owner in April of 1999, it is here being offered for sale with less than 500 miles since the Ferracci transformation. This bike is in fantastic condition, and features the following documented Fast by Ferracci parts and modifications: -Full competition 984cc engine kit, 145HP at the rear wheel, with FBF dyno documentation -FBF dual injector kit -Marchesini wheels -Termignoni 54mm full exhaust -FBF rear set pegs with reverse shift (1 down, 4 up) -Polished swing arm -Stainless steel racing brake and clutch lines -520 sprocket conversion with DID ERV-2 chain -Brembo 320mm full floating front rotors -Brembo GP 4 piston front calipers -Brembo L-18 front caliper master cylinder -Brembo clutch master cylinder - FBF HyperPro suspension kit with Ohlin dampers - Michelin 1295(f) and 2788W(r) slick tires - Leather FBF racing seat - Carbon fiber headlight support - Carbon fiber mirror supports -Carbon fiber chain guard, clutch and heat shield -Quickshifter electronic ignition interrupt system -Ferracci windscreen This bike is finished in day glo red. It is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. Cosmetically there are a few large paint nicks and cracks on the windscreen fairing as can be seen in the pictures. The rest of the body work is in outstanding condition. It does not have turn signals or a brake light, but the factory Ducati wiring is intact to reconnect these items. Bike has never been laid down, dropped or damaged in any way. Mechanically it is sound, documentation showing it to have 5696 miles when sold by FBF, it has less than 500 miles on it since then. Only a few track days and some limited street riding. It starts, idles, accelerates and stops as it should. The chain of ownership is fully documeted as well as the engine dyno, and all documentation will be provided to the buyer. Shipping of the bike is the responsibility of the purchaser.
