Up for absolute NO RESERVE auction I have a 2006 Buell XB12S Lightning. This Buell is in excellent shape and is a blast to ride. If you have never ridden or owned one of the XB chassis bikes and love a bike that turns, stops and handles like nothing else do yourself a favor and get on one. I am not bashing the inline sport bikes, because many are impressive in their own areas but the XB rank high in these areas and accelerates out of the corners with diesel like torque that the inlines can’t match. No leaks, or motor noise, smoke, oil use or any of the powertrain worries a buyer night have. Tranny shifts smooth with no grinds or whining. EXCELLENT RUNNING POWERTRAIN!!!! I JUST HAD THIS BIKE MISSOURI SAFETY INSPECTED!! For Missouri buyers I was told the inspection is good for 60 days and can be used for the buyer to license it too. This bike is mostly stock. It has the race kit on it which cannot be bought anymore, which involves the high flow air filter, tuned ECM, and dual outlet more aggressive sounding muffler. It also has a more stylish and comfortable seat. I do not have the stock parts that were removed for these, don’t know why you would want them just thought I would answer that question. I will try and list every little defect, but keep in mind most if any are noticeable unless looked for. I just like to list anything I can find so that you know what you are buying and that is why I have 220 plus 100 percent feedback on many big ticket items. I can see marring on the silver paint on the upper triple trees from strap rubbing during trailering. There is a ½ scratch on the left side of the front rim, I will touch up but before I do just noting that it is there. The left side of the frame right by the protective puck at the top has a white haze that looks like dried wax. It didn’t come off with Maguire’s Quick Detail spray, it may with some solvent but I didn’t want do risk discoloring the paint from using something I wasn’t supposed to. I will let new owner try that. Black paint is in nice shape. Really there are no other complaints or surprises about the bike. The bike has never been down in my ownership and I see no evidence that it ever has prior to that. You can fly into KC and ride this one home to anywhere. Title is clean, clear, in my name and in hand. $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end and full payment within 7 days of auctions end. Bike and title will not leave my ownership until I have funds full available, that means if you are paying with anything other than cash like bank check or something the check has to be cleared in my account. Sorry to sound so strict and mean just been through problems in the past and don’t want them again. I am looking for 50’s cruiser car if you have something.
